GE Equipment Services’ Rail Services division, a leading provider to the global rail industry, wanted to show its appreciation to clients and reestablish relationships after having spent much of the previous year in a reorganization effort. They decided to invite key customers and industry leaders to a Texas Barbeque and a Golf Outing, held in conjunction with the 2004 IANA Conference.
GE turned to Street Level Studio to keep the project on track and kick up the creativity. To build pre-event momentum, we created a series of three mailings. Each one featured iconic images that cleverly conveyed GE’s new brand identity and highlighted the beautiful Texas Hill Country location of the events. Costs were kept to a minimum by designing all the pieces to print on a single press sheet and using existing GE stationery. The results? A capacity crowd of important clients and industry leaders moseyed on over to both events. Of course, it didn’t hurt that guests at the barbeque got Stetson hats sized to fit them perfectly! |
